Our entire staff is assembled for one purpose: to serve our patients. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible hearing care we can, based on your individual needs. We provide a comprehensive array of services related to evaluation, rehabilitation, and prevention of hearing impairment.
We pledge to provide comprehensive hearing healthcare to individuals of all ages. We are committed to assisting each patient towards the goal of improved quality of life through better hearing.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive, compassionate and cost-effective care for each of our patients. Our goal is to improve hearing, communication and the overall quality of life for the patients we are privileged to serve.
We are a small locally owned company with friendly familiar faces eager to help you hear your best. Attuned to the latest advances and products, we are prepared to offer the best of new equipment and technology. Additionally, every product we sell includes the highest level of service from our experienced, trusted team.
Choosing a hearing professional is one of the most important decisions a hearing impaired person can make. Since a hearing aid cannot be prescribed like eyeglasses, the proper hearing aid recommendation and fitting is highly dependent on the judgment and skill of the professional selecting the instrument. We test your hearing, select, and dispense the hearing instrument best suited to your personal, professional, cosmetic and financial needs.
Our philosophy is to provide a plan that is custom tailored to meet each individual’s needs and expectations. We pride ourselves on a being a very patient-centered practice. We always take the time to listen to you so we can better understand the day-to-day challenges you are facing as a result of hearing difficulties. We find that this is the best way to develop treatment goals and intervention strategies that are both relevant and achievable.

Hi, I'm Sue Meeks, and I do the insurance billing for Strickland Ear Clinic. I am a professional certified coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders. In addition to my part-time job here at Strickland, I am also a adjunct instructor at Carrington College. I have been teaching medical billing, coding, and medical terminology there for the past 6 years.
I am married, and we have five children thanks to our "blended" family. We also have 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. That isn't counting my "fur baby" Shih Tzu, Hondo, who runs the household and is very spoiled. My hobbies are camping (some friends say I can't call it camping since I have a motor home), fishing, and reading. My favorite place for a vacation is either the Oregon or Southern Washington coast!
My favorite part of working with everyone here at Strickland Ear Clinic is that every one of us truly cares about our patients and what we can do to help with their hearing issues and improve their quality of life.
Nicholle grew up in SW Washington. Her husband, Terry, was raised in Meridian, and he convinced her to move here from the west coast. She will tell you that it was a great decision. She loves the friendliness of the people, and the “small town” feeling of Meridian. The sunshine and mountains don’t hurt either.
Nicholle has two Associated Degrees and over 20 years experience working in a medical office setting. The few times she has tried something else, she longs to be back in the office helping people. It brightens her day when she can see that what we do here at Strickland Ear Clinic helps people enjoy a more fulfilling life.
Nicholle enjoys the outdoors. She loves to camp with her family. She can often be seen on the banks of a river reading a book while her husband and kids fly fish. She has 3 children, 1 girl and 2 boys that were adopted in 2008. They are teenagers now and keep her on her toes running to and fro from activity to activity. She loves the time they spend together.
Karie is a California Native. She moved here with her daughter in 1987 to enjoy the beautiful season changes that Boise and surrounding areas offer. Karie has worked in the Boise/Meridian area for almost 30 years at various medical/dental offices helping patients at the front desk or with their billing/insurance needs. Her daughter is now an adult with two young children of her own. Karie spends time with her grandchildren out of doors as much as possible and still enjoys the changing of seasons that originally brought her to the area.
She thoroughly enjoys working at Strickland Ear Clinic as it affords her the opportunity to witness hearing issues being resolved in not only adults and older patients but children who might not otherwise receive aid with their hearing problems. Karie’s hobbies are gardening, cooking, watching home improvement shows and spending time with her family.
